In between the lines

Can hear the truth when there is no word spoken
Cause silence cradles it as if it were a child,
Words are decoys and speech is just a token
For some play Muggle – yet clearly are beguiled.

When you’ll get chaos just hear the silence stir
The inner maelstrom that every cripple fears,
Conjuring stories you’re not supposed to hear
All from the book they’ve hidden all these years.

It’s in our way to speak more when we’re quiet
Sometimes the mute is uttering our best,
It’s like they say – sometimes you need a diet
From all those fallacies devoured at the fest.
